The system adopts Philips 325W ultraviolet sterilization lamp, matched with Philips 325W electronic ballast. A disinfection module is composed of 8 light tubes, using a total of 6 disinfection modules.

The disinfection module is installed in the disinfection channel in a downstream manner through a fixed beam. There are diversion plates and control gate valves in the front, and a non powered floating overflow weir is installed at the back.

The spacing between the lamp tubes of the disinfection module is 100mm, the ground clearance of the lower ultraviolet sterilization lamp is 50mm, the length of the ultraviolet disinfection module is 2100mm, the width is 100mm, and the effective spacing of the fixed installation bracket is 1950mm.

The distance between the high-level ultraviolet sterilization lamp tube and the module crossbeam is 300mm.

The system adopts Siemens touch screen and PLC, and uses Ethernet for data transmission. Managers can observe and control the ultraviolet disinfection system in the central control room of the sewage treatment plant.

The system has functions of automatic cleaning control, manual cleaning control, automatic start stop equipment, and manual start stop equipment, and can record the working status of the lamps in the system.

A non powered floating overflow weir will be installed later, and the floating overflow weir will automatically adjust the closing angle of the overflow plate according to the size of the water flow, to ensure that the higher layer of the ultraviolet disinfection system's sterilization lamp penetrates into the sewage. The float overflow weir controls the water level error within a range of 50mm.

Equipped with a digital liquid level sensor, it is used to display the current sewage liquid level. When the sewage is too high or too low, it transmits a signal to shut down the circuit of the ultraviolet disinfection system, causing the system to be in a shutdown state. When the sewage level cannot effectively penetrate the upper ultraviolet sterilization lamp, the sterilization lamp exposed outside the water surface will automatically turn off, saving energy consumption and protecting the lamp tube.

The system adopts mechanical cleaning method, which can be automatically cleaned at regular intervals or manually operated for cleaning.
